wavefunction of gamma point vasp

#1 Post by zzhlax » Sat Jun 04, 2016 5:22 am

Hi vasp users,

Recently, I need to use the wavefunction produced by gamma point vasp. However, I don't know exactly the difference between the wavefunctions of gamma point and standard vasp. As I know, the coefficients of plane wave basis stored in the wavefunction are complex and the data in the wavefunction from gamma point vasp are half those from the standard vasp. Are there any other differences between those two wavefucntions?
Thank you.

Best.
