I would like to calculate the plasmon frequency. From the VASP source code it seems that the plasmon frequency is calculated in the routine linear_optics.f90. However it is not discussed in the manual. When calculating the dielectric function it prints the plasmon frequency, but the value is always zero.
Which parameters in the input should be used to get a value for the plasmon frequency ?
