suggest good reading material for DFT vs GW

#1 Post by panda » Fri Dec 18, 2009 12:01 am

I know that DFT underestimates the band gap in semiconductors and insulators. I know HOW and WHY this happens, but just can not for the life of me find any good references stating this in clear form. Wikipedia does an excellent job of describing this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic ... roximation
But they do not provide references. ARRG. Could someone point me in the right direction for reading material please?

Thanks
