..LOCPOT file...

#1 Post by brocks » Fri Apr 20, 2007 1:54 pm

Hi,

i`m doing some spin polarized calculations and i`m looking to the LOCPOT to plot
the averaged plane potential along one choosen direction.
I would like to plot the averaged potential along one direction for spin components.
In the LOCPOT file there are two blocks of dates, as other files used by VASP.
Does this format work as in CHGCAR and PARCHG files?
I mean the first block is potential_up+potential_down and the second one is potential_up-potential_down (i think this because in CHGCAR for example the
first block is the density_up+density_down and the second one is density_up-density_down).
Thank you a lot.

Gianluca
